Awww does this bring back memories!! When I was a little girl, my father put a white picket fence (yes, a real wooden white picket fence) around our Christmas tree inside our house in our living room. Somewhere I have a photo of it and I'll have to post it or send it to you cuz it's too cute... circa '73 or so. We used that fence for many years to keep out both babies and dogs. I think it only got trashed last year when my brother remodeled the house.
