Wow, Happy New Year everyone! My first post of 2006!  I really thought once the holidays were over I'd actually have more time to do stuff like this, but I was wrong  
I hope everyone had a great Christmas & had fun bringing in the new year. We just got back from San Diego yesterday, took a spur of the moment trip down that way & took the kids to Sea World, the weather was just beautiful & was a nice break from the heat! I'll have to post some pictures when I have more time, maybe 2mrw!

Hey Jennifer, thanks for your comment about my daughter. She wasn't in pain... she SAID she wasn't feeling well, but she doesn't even know what it is she took. She THINKS they were pain killers but she isn't sure. She is already on six different prescription meds for her bipolar disorder and ADHD. So whatever she took was an overdose on top of it, and who knows if it was even anything legal or not. Whatever it was it wasn't anything the hospital could pick up on a regular tox screen. And she won't rat out who gave it to her, and she still doesn't get that she could have died AGAIN, so she doesn't think it's important enough to ask her 'friend' what it was that she gave her.

When I took her to the pediatrician today, and we went through the whole story with her, and said she almost died, my daughter said, "No, I didn't," as if I were lying or she didn't really believe it. I swear she thinks she is invincible. Like I am making this up or I just want to get her in trouble. I haven't even punished her YET. She's still been talking on the phone to her boyfriend who smokes and drinks (no I have not let her actually go out with him anywhere, they just see each other at school, that is bad enough but I can't control that).

Ahhh... enough crying from me on this. It sounds like you guys had a wonderful trip (you should have called me, I would have stowed away in a suitcase LOL). I'm looking forward to seeing the pics!
